When it comes to building a firm foundation, we believe that the Bible provides the essential building block. While Bible is a specific content area for all our middle school classes, it is also something we work to integrate into each of our classes. In an effort to provide both high academic standards and develop a biblical worldview, our students have a rigorous curriculum written and taught from a Biblical perspective.
Our high-standards core subjects (language, mathematics, science, history, Bible) are enhanced by instruction in computers, health and physical education, foundational application classes as well as an array of elective choices. Elective offerings vary from year to year, and have included lego robotics, web design, culinary arts, choir, pottery, photography, multimedia art, etc.
Please visit the Athletics tab for more information on our growing middle school athletics program.
This year we hosted our first “Middle School Mania.” This fun evening of games and activities was attended by more than 50 students. Additional middle school activities are in the works!
Teachers and staff form FFCS Care Teams who discuss educational support for students who may need it. In addition, this year we have a part-time Resource Specialist who comes in to help students when requested.
