High School Mission Trip
Every year high school juniors and seniors may participate in a short-term international mission trip. The team, along with FFCS staff and parent chaperones, visit Zacapa, Guatemala, and the surrounding area to work alongside the ALC Foreign Mission doing service projects such as building projects, visiting new mothers and babies in the local hospital, participating in local church activities and visiting an orphanage. They tour Guatemala City and the city of Antigua. Our next trip is planned for March of 2022. On alternating years, a team works in the Tenderloin District of San Francisco serving the homeless.
Washington D.C. Trip
Each spring, our 8th grade students have an opportunity to take a week-long educational field trip to visit Washington, D.C. and some of the surrounding areas. Many of our students note this as their most memorable FFCS activity!
The annual Leadership Conference in Cannon Beach challenges high school students to grow in their ability to share and defend their faith.
Community service at FFCS takes many forms. From raising money to support various mission groups, to serving at the Ring and Sing, to supporting FFCS families in a variety of ways, our goal is to instill in our students a desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Outdoor School is a 6th grade tradition. Visiting Camp Yamhill, the students participate in wide variety of activities.
Senior Beach Trip
The senior beach trip is an overnight trip of fun and fellowship!
