At Firm Foundation Christian School we have a mission to assist families in developing today’s youth into Christian leaders serving in the home, church, and community by providing an education emphasizing academic excellence through a Biblical curriculum. We train each student athlete in a Christ-centered environment, expecting each student-athlete and team compete in a manner that honors God, our school, our teammates, and our community.
Participating in extra-curricular athletics is a privilege, not a right. We believe that many of life’s lessons are demonstrated through sports, and athletic competition allows students to develop and demonstrate Christ-like attitudes and behaviors in various situations. We expect our athletes to pursue a standard of excellence with character and integrity at all times, on and off the field or court.
FFCS values teamwork. Our teams have adopted the C.A.S.H. model: Character, Attitude, Skills, Habits. By developing individually and as a team in each of these areas, student-athletes will reflect a Christ-like attitude on and off the field or court. Scripture reinforces this dedication to each other in John 13:35: “By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
