Bio
I’ve been married to my wonderful wife since 1991 and we have two grown sons.  The oldest is married so now we have a daughter too!  When I’m not teaching, I’m working at my landscape maintenance business or giving piano and saxophone lessons.  During my spare time I enjoy teaching Sunday school, playing my saxophone and doing anything I can with my wife.  We love to take road trips, although it happens too infrequently, and going for hikes in nature.  Yellowstone National Park is one of our favorite places to go.  (Too bad it isn’t closer).  Although my degree is in Music Education, in my 13 years of teaching, I have enjoyed the privilege of teaching many different subjects and grades.  This year I get to teach Music, a PE class, beginning Band and 6th grade Bible.  Every age has its unique characteristics and I’m very thankful that I get to enjoy a huge variety of ages and subjects every day.  There is no such thing as a boring day around here.  Days full of fun, love and surprises are a more accurate description.  I love being able to share in the joy of, a first loose tooth, a nervous student  overcome fears and trying something scary and the discovery of how much God loves each of us.
