Good afternoon FFCS Families!

Today is the last school day of January, and when we return Monday, February will be upon us. It has been an eventful year, and one where we have seen God’s mighty hand at work in amazing ways.
We are now officially over halfway through the school year. Report cards for middle school and high school went out this week. With February, Spirit Week is right around the corner. This is a time to build school and class spirit as we serve the Lord by raising funds to support several ministries. Look in your Weekly Notes for more details.
MAP testing results will be sent home the second week in February. This adaptive test gives the teaching team a snapshot of how your child is doing. We will send out the report, as well as information on how to interpret the results.
As a reminder, there is no school on Monday, February 15th, in recognition of President’s Day, and there is no school on Friday, February 26th, due to teacher inservice.
As always, we want you to know how much we appreciate our students and families. It has been inspiring to see how our students have adapted to this year amid the various requirements. I am known for being an optimist, and continue to hold out hope that we will be able to return to some “normal” activities prior to year end. Even if not, I am confident that God is on the throne, and that He truly loves and cares for each and every one of us. May you feel His presence near!
