The weather was perfect. The taste of a root beer took me right back to my childhood. And the smiles…oh, the smiles!
Last night was such a sweet reminder of what makes our school community so special. We had the joy of welcoming both current families and many of our new families for an evening filled with sunshine, games, root beer floats, face painting, a bounce house, and just plain old-fashioned summer fun. There was something so meaningful about watching families connect, children laugh and play, and new friendships begin to form.
Events like this are about so much more than root beer floats and bounce houses. They are about building relationships, strengthening community, and creating a place where families and students feel genuinely known, welcomed, and loved. As we live out our mission together, our desire is that everything we do—from the classroom to a simple summer evening like this—would point others toward Christ, strengthen the community He has entrusted to us, and ultimately honor and glorify the Lord. What a privilege it is to serve Him together!
