About Me
I have served as a pastor of youth, missions and discipleship for over 25 years in California, Colorado and Missouri, and have taught New Testament Studies and Leadership Studies at the secondary level while in the Kansas City area. My passion is discipleship and spiritual formation. I have been married to my wife, Nancy, for 33 years and have two adult children, Emily and Amy who we still enjoy being silly with. I love outdoor activities that range from biking, kayaking, paddle boarding and skiing and lately, have been trying to get back into golf. Nancy and I serve on the tech team at our church, and I am a volunteer bike mechanic at Wheel Deals Bicycles (Open House Ministries). My favorite at home hobbies include cooking, restoring vintage sports cars/motorcycles as well as home improvement projects.
