About Me
I would not be who I am without, firstly, the Lord, second, my dear husband, Don, and thirdly, our three precious kids: Sam, Emmy and Allie. I learn so much from all of them. Our whole family is passionate about music. God made me a creative person, so I enjoy all kinds of making: jewelry, drawing, watercolors, and learning to work clay on a wheel. I lead in women’s ministry at church, sing in worship and enjoy learning more from God’s Word. Time in nature, exercise, and strong coffee are also important to me. I’m very grateful to be part of the FFCS family as the art teacher. I get to lead students from age 4, all the way to 18, and point them to the wonders and grace of our Master Artist, and who they are as His children.

About Me
I have three boys (two of which currently attend Firm Foundation). I come from a long line of wonderful teachers and have lived in Clark County for most of the last 30 years. I enjoy reading and creating works of art, including recently creating an album cover for the Christian rock band True Strength.

About Me
Married to my husband David; three children and four grandkids who are my pride and joy. In my spare time I love to travel with my husband, arts and crafts, and vintage shopping. My most favorite hobby is spending time reading God’s Word and watching how His plans unfold for me, my family and my students (current and alumni).

About Me
I have served as a pastor of youth, missions and discipleship for over 25 years in California, Colorado and Missouri, and have taught New Testament Studies and Leadership Studies at the secondary level while in the Kansas City area. My passion is discipleship and spiritual formation. I have been married to my wife, Nancy, for 33 years and have two adult children, Emily and Amy who we still enjoy being silly with. I love outdoor activities that range from biking, kayaking, paddle boarding and skiing and lately, have been trying to get back into golf. Nancy and I serve on the tech team at our church, and I am a volunteer bike mechanic at Wheel Deals Bicycles (Open House Ministries). My favorite at home hobbies include cooking, restoring vintage sports cars/motorcycles as well as home improvement projects.

About Me
Being an English teacher, I love stories; those rich, delightful soul-feeding stories that tell of the struggles and triumphs of God’s people as we travel the highways and byways of this life.
I also love camping with my husband and golden retriever, Maggie especially if it is near the ocean! We have 3 sons, all married, and 4 adorable grandchildren. I spend a lot of time in my garden growing veggies and lots of flowers. I’m always on the lookout for great plays for the high school drama spring theater production!

About Me
I moved to Washington in 1992. Three years later, I met my wonderful husband. We are blessed with two fine boys, who both graduated from FFCS. Before I moved to Washington, I was earning my degree in mathematics and working at a high school tutoring in the math department. I have been in education in some form since then, whether in the classroom, tutoring, textbook industry, or homeschooling. God has been very good to me. I am able to share my love of mathematics with the students here at FFCS.

About Me
I am a mom to four beautiful kids! I love to take them out to explore God’s creation by going on hikes, kayaking, road trips, and so many parks! I endlessly love learning more about how this world works, and then sharing this with my students. I consider my passion for learning to be one of my strengths, as well as curating that passion in other people. I love teaching because I get excited about opportunities to show the complexity and awesomeness of our God to others in tangible ways. Teaching here at FFCS has been such a blessing to me.

About Me
Clark County Washington has been my home my whole life. I was married in June of 2004, celebrated the birth of my first daughter January of 2007, my second daughter September of 2009, and my third daughter October of 2014. I have taught a range of classes over the years, including Bible, English, math, science, history, and technology. I currently teach middle school and high school classes such as technology electives, MS math, and HS Bible. I love to spend my time with family, working in the yard, learning, reading, creating things in 3D, building computers, playing the violin, and enjoying the wonderful universe God created.
