PATIENCE….
Earlier this year we shared that, in addition to our Jog‑A‑Thon the last two years, donors stepped up in a remarkable way and provided the funds for FFCS to purchase two vans for school use. It reminded me of the phrase, “Good things come to those who wait.” Even more fitting is Psalm 37:7a: “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him.”
Waiting patiently isn’t always easy in a world where immediacy is king. After securing the vans, we took time to think carefully about how we wanted them to represent FFCS in the broader community. We invited students to submit ideas, and this photo shows the final design—directly inspired by their creativity and vision.
What a privilege it is to see our students’ ideas come to life and to watch our community’s generosity move from hope to reality. These vans are more than vehicles; they’re a visible reminder of God’s provision, our students’ imagination, and the strength of a community that believes in the mission of FFCS.
